About these terms
Yesteroll is an iPhone app made by Melbourne AI Lab (ABN 56 439 056 073), Melbourne VIC, Australia. It's distributed through Apple's App Store, so your use of the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA").
These terms add details about Yesteroll Pro, the free plan and your photos. If these terms and the Standard EULA conflict, the Standard EULA applies. By downloading or using Yesteroll, you agree to both. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.
Yesteroll Pro and subscriptions
Yesteroll Pro removes the free plan's delete limits. It's sold through the App Store in three options:

- Prices: prices above are in US dollars. The App Store sets the price in your country and currency, including any taxes, and shows it before you pay.
- Payment: payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or, if you start a free trial, when the trial ends.
- Free trial: each Apple Account can get one free trial. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Auto-renewal: monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically for the same length and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Managing and cancelling: manage or cancel your subscription any time in your iPhone's Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
- Upgrading to Lifetime: if you subscribe, what you've already paid for Pro counts toward Lifetime. The app shows your reduced Lifetime price in Settings > Yesteroll Pro, and once your subscription payments reach US$25, Lifetime unlocks automatically at no extra cost. Each paid monthly period counts US$4.99 and each paid yearly period US$19.99, whatever your local currency. Free trials, refunded periods and periods replaced by a plan change don't count. If a payment that counted toward Lifetime is refunded, Lifetime may be removed again. Upgrading doesn't cancel your subscription. Cancel it yourself in Settings so it doesn't renew.
- Refunds: Apple handles all payments and refunds. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restoring: to use Pro after reinstalling or on another iPhone, sign in with the same Apple Account and tap Restore purchases. To prevent abuse, a purchase can move to a new install at most 3 times in 7 days.
We may change Pro prices or options in the future. Apple will tell you before a price increase applies to an existing subscription, as App Store rules require.
The free plan
Every feature of Yesteroll is free. On the free plan you can delete up to 100 photos a day (the count resets at midnight, your local time) and 5 videos in total. We may change these limits. If we do, we'll update this page and the App Store description, and the app will always show how many free deletes you have left.
Your photos
- Your photos and videos belong to you. Yesteroll works on them on your iPhone and never uploads them. See our Privacy Policy.
- Yesteroll only deletes items after you confirm, and iOS asks you to confirm again. Deleted items go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app, where you can recover them for 30 days. After that, or if you empty Recently Deleted, they're gone for good, and we can't recover them.
- If you use iCloud Photos, deleting an item also removes it from your other devices that use the same library.
- Keep your own backup of photos that matter to you. Suggestions from Sweeps, like "similar" or "blurry", are automatic guesses. Check them before you delete.
Acceptable use
Use Yesteroll only for lawful purposes and only on photo libraries you're allowed to manage. Don't try to copy, reverse engineer, resell or get around the limits or purchase checks of the app, except where the law allows it.
Changes to the app
We keep improving Yesteroll, so features may change. Some updates may be required to keep using the app, for example to fix a serious problem. We may stop offering the app in the future. If we do, we'll try to give reasonable notice in the app and on this website.
Disclaimers and liability
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer laws that apply to you.
Apart from those rights, Yesteroll is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for photos you choose to delete. Where our liability can be limited, it's limited to supplying the service again or the amount you paid for Yesteroll Pro in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop using Yesteroll at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription. We may suspend Pro on an install if a purchase is refunded or was obtained through abuse of the purchase system.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. If you live elsewhere, you also keep any protections the laws of your country give you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we'll also let you know in the app where we can. If you keep using Yesteroll after a change, the updated terms apply.
